So we have upgraded an installation to BC 22.1 (22.1.55890.56216), and the company switching control is not working. All companies are checked, so we can't switch from one to other:
Any ideas? User is SUPER
It seems to be a strange error. Suggest you to reach out to your partner or Microsoft, for assistance
not sure if you get any error switch companies, usually such issue is caused by user not being assigned access to required companies. e.g.
user only granted access to company A and will get struck when trying to switch to company B.
Yes, you need to assign permission or check the license
Seems like after upgrade, the ID field in the Company Table is not filled in. We have manually updated the table in SQL, and the problem is gone. We just updated the ID field with some random GUID
I'm not sure if there is some step in the upgrade process that will fill in the ID's or if this is something that must be yet officially addressed
Hi,
Check Company field in User Permission Sets.
Hi, I checked my test environment and didn't encounter your problem. This is indeed a bit strange. If you have uninstalled all PTEs and restarting the environment does not solve the problem, it is recommended to submit a Service Request to Microsoft.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
