Hi,

When I am trying to reserve the qty from PO, it is not allowing me to reserve from PO. Can you please check the below screenshots?

1) Item in Line level in SO

2) Item Card

3) Dates in PO

4) Dates in SO

If your Purchase Order Lines Receipt Date is AFTER the Sales Order Shipment Date, it will not appear in your reservation options. You can either change your Planned Shipment Date on the Sales Order Lines or update your Purchase Order Receipt Date (not usually feasible/reality). You can only reserve from inventory that will be available prior to the shipment date.

P.S. The dates on the Lines are more important than the Header, as they can be different.

Ben's answer is excellent. BC always take time frame into consideration when calculate inventory availability.
