"wrong" sorting of Vendor Balance report

H! The order in which entries appear in our Vendor Balance Report are sorted by Entry No and not Doc Data which is what you would expect - is there a setting we are missing or requires some coding to fix?

Are you talking about the 'Vendor - Detail Trial Balance report?

The default vendor balance report does not show any details in my installations.

In the detaled trail balance report the sorting is posting date for the vendor ledger entries.

And if you want to change that you need to customize it.

Hi

As Mr Burvik mentioned I tested Vendor - Detail Trial Balance and it sorts by date. The 2 other reports has no detail.

Which report you have tried?

Hi

I tried that and all info sorted by date. See below. I should clarify that it sort by Vendor then under vendor sort by date.
