How to create Production Order from Production BOM

Dear All,

I have an item ID for my finished product and I have assigned a Production BOM for this product. Now, I need to make a production order for this item but when I got to "Production order", I can't find a way to import this production BOM rather I have make entry of components again. How can I just import this Production BOM while creating Production order for this particular product? Thanks, Amresh.

Hello,

When manually creating Production Orders, after entering the Source No., Quantity, and Due Date click Process/Refresh Production Order. This will insert the Production Line for the Source Item. You can then look at Components (BOM), on the Line by clicking Line/Components.
