Hi All,
I couldn't an option preview GL posting before posting an item journal. Is there any option?

G/L entries will only be on created posting of Item Journal only if you have enabled Automatic Cost Posting in Inventory Setup.
If you disable that then on posting Item Journal you will not get any G/L entries. Now you can use report Post Item cost to G/L and there you can Preview by not selecting Post option.
Are you serious? even checked Automatic Cost posting in Inv. Setup, I still can not see preview posting.
Could you show any screenshot?

Adding to Bilal's reply and your question... If you turn off Automatic Costing Posting, then you run the report called Post Invt. Cost to G/L - Test which will show you the G/L entries about to be made from Inventory transactions. Note that you can do the preview by running the report Post Inventory Cost to G/L and NOT selecting Post, which preview the entries to be made.
