Item Arrival Journal - Close check on lines

What is the function of the "Close" button in the item arrival journal? I suspect it is something similar to the close on the receipt and it essentially closes that line even if there are remaining items to be delivered.

I am very sorry. The close button doesn't appear when I fill out the journal lines. Could you please tell me where this item arrival journal of yours came from?

Yes, this cancels any delivery remainder against the PO line. Its the same "close" flag as on posting the packing slip or vendor invoice.

Hi Charlotte,

It may be because your journal isn't referencing an order? My screenshot was generated when going through Inventory Management > Item Arrival Journal. Then filtering the list for my PO and an arrival journal being created that way.
