Hi Everyone,

 

We have a queue that auto created contacts for emails that are sent to it (via the email router).

This works perfectly except it places the email address in the Last Name field as well as the email address field. Is there any way to get the auto creation to place the Display Name in the Last Name field and the email address in the email address field?

 

That would be a lot easier for our users.

    Hello,

    I hope that the email is converted to a Contact with the help of a Workflow.

    If yes, then what are the Properties set on the Create Contact Step. Check the Dynamic value set in the email field and Last name, they will be same. Change the Last name's dynamic value and set it {From(Email)}

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response. At the moment there is no workflow involved.

    The contact is being create by CRM when an email arrives in a queue. Last time I tried using a workflow for this it ended up creating duplicate contacts.

    Am I missing something or need to do it differently?
