I see that SEPA is supported in BC V16 and there has been some discussions on if this is Euro only. I am looking at a way to deal with DD's in BC and SEPA looked like the option but if it is only able to collect funds in Euro that will not work as we need GBP as well. In addition I suspect that a bank account with say HSBC needs to be set to allow the sending of SEPA DD info and I cannot find any details of charges other than on a per transaction basis. I would assume if SEPA DD was implemented there would need to be some guarantee/deposit with HSBC in case errors occur and refunds are required to pay the refund.
Does anyone know the answers or should I just look for an extension that uses a gateway to process DD's? If so can anyone recommend an extension/developer who has this? Has anyone implemented a DD system and can throw some more light on this?
