I see that SEPA is supported in BC V16 and there has been some discussions on if this is Euro only. I am looking at a way to deal with DD's in BC and SEPA looked like the option but if it is only able to collect funds in Euro that will not work as we need GBP as well. In addition I suspect that a bank account with say HSBC needs to be set to allow the sending of SEPA DD info and I cannot find any details of charges other than on a per transaction basis. I would assume if SEPA DD was implemented there would need to be some guarantee/deposit with HSBC in case errors occur and refunds are required to pay the refund.

Does anyone know the answers or should I just look for an extension that uses a gateway to process DD's? If so can anyone recommend an extension/developer who has this? Has anyone implemented a DD system and can throw some more light on this?

As you suggested I opened a case and the response was that is is now possible using SEPA to work with currencies other than Euro. This needs to be changed in the General Ledger Setup card. At the bottom there are 2 options to enable SEPA Non-Euro Export and SEPA Exprt w/o/ Bank acc. Data. Setting the 1st to on allows non-euro to be included in the SEPA file
