Similar to the following url, which explains how to access office 365 api's:

Is this approach also applicable to CRM Online? Will it be applicable in the (near) future?

If not, what would be the best approach for a Single Page App to consume the OData endpoint, using Azure AD for authentication?

(I've tried a couple things, but am now stuck on retrieving the data from the service. This only works whenever i change the browser security for accessing data sources across domains)

Now that it is already 2017, do we have support for CORS?

Not possible with the current endpoints. Should be coming with the new Web API endpoint coming with 2016.
