Line discount percentage trade agreement

Hi, does anybody know why a line discount percentage trade agreement would apply on the sales order line as an amount, instead of a percentage? I am seeing different behaviour between systems; one applies it as a percentage and the other system applies it as the equivalent amount value.

I can't find a parameter or setting that controls this, but there must be one somewhere

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Paul,

The line discount will be displayed as a percentage or per unit discount on the sales order line, depending on the setting method of the trade agreement. If you want to display the discount percentage, you can set it in sales and marketing>price discount>trade agreement journals. The relation is set to line discount (sales), and the discount percentage is set in the Details tab.

For details, you can see the links below. There are some detailed descriptions of the trade agreement:

Hi Charlotte, unfortunately that doesn't answer my problem. I already have the percentage defined in the Details section of the trade agreement record, yet it is showing on the sales order line as an amount (not the percentage.)

Probably because you are creating a sales order with user that's linked to a call center.

In that case the price and discount fields and calculation differs from a regular SCM sales order.

All commerce discounts (including the trade agreements) will show up accumulated as one amount of discount.
