Hello,

I am new to Business Central and using Microsoft SaaS - BC v17.

I have issue / not working scenario when trying to put Budget entries into Cash flow forecast worksheet using suggest lines. It gets zero rows for G/L Budget source type.
I have fully working cash flow worksheet for other source types like liquid fund, sales orders, payables, etc. It is jost that G/L Budget entries are not working

I have existing records in:
 - cash flow forecasts
 - g/l budget
 - g/l budget entries
 - chart of cash flow accounts (name: expenses, source type: g/l budget) , g/l integration both

Dates are for next month, and I have double checked them, including numbers/amounts

What else am I missing here?

I have the same question (0)

The following doc's should assist you for setup of cash flow forecasting

Thank you for links, however, this does not help me. I have cash flow forecast working, only issue is with g/l budgets not showing in suggest line for cashflow worksheet , and can not find any example of using g/l budgets in cashflow worksheet :/ I think I am missing something , but unsure what.

I think you cannot leave the "G/L Account Filter" blank on the Cash Flow Account Card page.

You need to specify a filter ... can still be from 1..9999999, but not blank.

    Please try this

    Hello,

You need to filter the posting accounts in the chart of accounts and not just the total accounts.

Ensure the budget entries are there for the specific period.

It should work then. I have just tested it.

    Cheers

    Sandy

    Hi Sandy

Are you referring to the Chart of Cash Flow Accounts? As I've done here:

I then attempted to use the 'Suggest Worksheet Lines' functions against the Cash Flow Worksheet to add these budget lines into the Cash Flow Forecast, but it doesn't return any lines.

Am I missing something? Thanks in advnace.

    Hi

Can you only pick posting accounts rather thsn the range?

    Hello
I had the same problem, and the solution was as follows

    1. There needs to be a Cash Flow Chart of Accounts for GL Budget.
    • Source Type = GL Budget
    • GL Intergration = Budget or Both (I use Budget Only)
    • GL Account Filter must not be blank - recommend use the whole GL - in my example above 1000..9999

On your Cash Flow Forecast, you need to have the dates aligned to your periods too, or it is skipped

Then you can test by going to the cash flow worksheet, use Suggest Lines and only select Budget.
