Posted on by 35

I am implementing company data - Chart of accounts, posting groups, VAT Groups, Vendors, Customers, Banks, Items etc. in NAV 140

What is the best method to Import these data prereferably via Excel?

Appreciate a step by step guide.

Configuration packages are one way. But i really recommend you to upgrade to latest version of Business Central instead of starting new Business in NAV 2016. There you will have edit in Excel, i find that a much better option than configuration packages.

    Hi,

Best way to import data into BC or in NAV use of configuration packages.

    learn.microsoft.com/.../import-navconfigurationpackagefile

    learn.microsoft.com/.../set-up-standard-company-configuration-packages
