How to migrate document templates to another instance?

Unlike other templates (Article, Email, Contracts, Mail Merge Template), I did not see option to add document templates into my solution. How to migrate document templates from one instance to another?

You can add all of these templates into a solution, export the solution and then import it in a different organization.

You can migrate there four types templates. But how to migrate Document Templates?

Currently, I have to upload my document templates one by one for each instance. Is there a better way to do it?

Migration of document templates, though works for OOB entities, were a challenge for custom entities since the entitytype code might differ in the target environment.

XRM Toolbox has a plugin "Document Templates Mover" to promote document templates. However, this has a downside that it cannot be integrated with ADO Pipelines. The below extension can be used to move the document templates as part of the ADO release pipeline. The extension ensures that the template GUIDs are retained when promoting to different environments. This allows future updates to the same template document.
