Is there a way to disable or hide 'Open in new window' button in model driven apps

Unfortunately you can not hide this button..

The tab in which this button exists is a non-editable part.
It is suggested that you suggest an idea, which the developers may add to the new settings in a future version:
https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/
There are no supported methods for hiding this button, but you can do it by editing XML or by using JavaScript.
