    Hi christine,

Basically 1 & 2 you can do using owner & team field and I hope the third applies automatically.

Can you please define what do you mean by current team??

    Hi - our structure is:

A User belongs to a Team and there are lots of different members in a team. So Current Team is the Team that you belong to. I can do a View to say show me items that are 'Assigned To' me or my Current Team - but if the items are assigned to someone that is in my Team then it doesn't show those. As and Example : I am Team A along with Fred and Joe. There are four items - we have one assigned to each person plus one assigned to Team !, so four items altogether. But if I do a View of items assigned to me or my Team I can only see the item belonging to me or the one that is assigned to Team A - but I also want to View the ones that are assigned to Fred and Joe too.

    thanks,

    Hi Christine

That is the limitation you cannot have OR for related entities and the entity itself.

See whether this article can help you

    survivingcrm.com/.../advanced-queries-with-advanced-find

For the number 3 you need access to the System user and also Team which you need also 1 and 2 condition to fulfill.

Youcan only have 1 OR with 1 AND for this.

Anyway you can combine them but you need to build your own fetch xml and make sure you update it programmatically

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg328457.aspx

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I completely agree with aleen and those are the possible ways of achieving it.

To add more information, if you want to concentrate a particular team (only one) and being the team size small, You can add the members directly in the advance find so that you view available records including others, enabling the owner field in the view will give you clear picture.

If you want to implement a dynamics approach to other teams or if the team size is big in number then you can follow what aileen suggested and it will be a reusable component.

Just bumping this one up again.

Is it possible to have a view of records that are:

    Owned by the Current User

    - OR -

Owned by the Current Users' Team

    - OR -

Owned by the Current Users' Team Members?
