Shopify Auto Create B2B company . BC to Shopify

Hi All

I'm looking at options to sync companies originate in BC to Shopify. I can manually add companies in below screen. However is there a way ican setup rules so for example if I add a new BC Customer card for B2B with country code AU then it automatically sync to Shopify? Or a rule based on other settings like posting groups? Do we have an automatic creation option in B2B scenarios. I suppose B2C originate from the Shopify for most

Yes, in Business Central, you can automate the sync of B2B customers to Shopify based on specific rules like country code or posting groups. You can achieve this by configuring Shopify Customer Templates in BC and using Power Automate or a custom AL extension to trigger the sync when a new B2B customer is created.

For B2C, customers typically originate from Shopify and sync to BC using a default customer record.

Hi Samantha,

I believe the current functionality is designed based on specific requirements, as not all organizations have all their companies on Shopify. However, to answer your question, this can be achieved by creating a job queue. Please check with your developer to see if it's possible to customize and create the job queue.

Hello,

The Shopify Connector for Business Central supports automatic synchronization for B2B scenarios. You can configure the connector to automatically create and sync customers based on specific criteria, such as country codes or posting groups, Job Queue Setup, Custom AL Code and by way of Power Automate.

For B2C scenarios, customers typically originate from Shopify and are then imported into Business Central. The Shopify Connector handles this flow by importing customer information along with order.
