Delete shared views from a user that is deleted? (tried xrmtoolbox etc)

Posted on by 880

Hi,

I have a issue. A user have created a lot of views and shared it with other users. The problem is that the user only shared it as read access. For several months ago the user left the company.

I have read several guides etc etc and tried with xrmtoolbox. However i didn't succeed. I think the problem is that the user is deleted. When i go into users i see a username simular to 823a8ba84fe4193a843007c77883f33hes@mycompany.com.

I tried sharing his views with my admin account, deleting them etc. I think the problem is that if i load the users views i don't find anything. I can only see the views if i load views from users that the deleted user shared his views with. And then the system will throw an error when i try to share the views from that user.

    Hi rskadk1,

    Please try this solution.

Go to Settings > Security > Users, select the Disable Users view, and open the deleted user, click REASSIGN RECORDS button to assign records to me.

Then open Advanced Find, select the entity and click Saved Views, delete the Saved Views which were created by the previous employee.
