Hello,

How Professional Services Tool Library will work, in which table it saves the old record information for items or customers

i want to get the changed record information like new customer id and old customer id

    Naresh,

    After a tool finishes, the changes are not stored anywhere in the GP tables.

    It prints a report when it's done, you can save the report. Or track the data manually some other way.

    Yes, I think the heritage of the toolkit (as the name implies) is from quick fix tools for "professionals" that need to get a job done. Not as a polished product for "end users", but I get the impression that MS thought others would find the tools helpful, even in the unpolished state. You have to tolerate the lack of audit etc for the fact you have them at all.

    Not ideal- but I'd rather have them than not.

    Naresh, If I understand your question correctly, you are wondering if PSTL archives old items, customers, etc. if you use PSTL to change them.  To my knowledge PSTL does not archive this information.  That's why it warns you to make a backup before you run customer modifier for example.  In the past where I've had customers who make lots of changes through PSTL I recommended maintaining an Excel log of changes made.  It is low-tech but accomplishes the job.  I hope this is helpful.
