Hello Josh,

since I do not exactly know what you are referring to, I can just give a generic answer.

We have the functionality "show opposite sign" e.g. in the Account Schedules.

This means like the description says that the ammounts are shon with the opposit sign:

for example:

You have an amount of -1.000,00 and with this flag set it will be shown as +1.000,00

Show Opposite Sign

Specifies whether to show debits in reports as negative amounts with a minus sign and credits as positive amounts.

This might be used in a Trial Balance, where you have ACTIVA and PASSIVA.

PASSIVA will be shown usually as negative, but sometimes you want to compare it just in positive amounts.

Josh,

Are you referring to Account Schedules, Column Layout field 'Show Opposite Sign' or on the Account Schedules . When checked it will show the Balance as an opposite sign of how it appears in the GL. So Revenue shows negative normally show on the Account Schedules it will appear as a positive figure.
