Hello, I am new to the system and learning a ton. One of my concerns is ensuring privacy through my organization when emails come over from our HR team or other private emails that employees may receive. How can we keep private emails from being tracked within the Dynamics CRM?

Hi JMon,

The configuration you are exploring is a combination of multiple settings, and it can grow in complexity based on your company structure and your HR department way of operating. It will require proper analysis to work correctly, and it will be really specific to your company. For a starting point you can explore this articles, and try to reach the desired configuration:

Security roles and privileges | Microsoft Docs (with this you can try to limit email visibility, for example only HR and sys admins has visibility to every email in the system, while users can see only their own)

Set an option to automatically track incoming Outlook email in Dynamics 365 for Outlook | Microsoft Docs (you will be able to limit the email that are getting synchronized)

Workflows Synchronous (you can match fields in an email for example a particular set of chars in the subject and change the email body to sanitize it)

Plugins (you can prevent creation, clean up the email, maybe re-assign it to a particular team in case the subject contains specific TAGs)

The overall setup will depend on your particular implementation and will require analysis to determine which is the correct approach.
