CRM 2011 DR setup

Hi All

We are currently moving all our infrastructure to a data centre but as the on premise hardware is still serviceable I would like to create a DR setup for CRM. I have read a few articles that are around database mirroring but I am not sure this covers my scenario.

If our data centre connectivity goes down I want users to be able to access CRM via the local CRM server and local SQL server 2008, so I need to mirror the databases but have the 2 CRM servers (one on prem and other in Data centre) allow access to the same data.

The options being shown are for 2 SQL servers (principal and mirror) with only 1 CRM server but if I lose connectivity to the data centre then I will lose connectivity to the CRM server.

Hi Sully,

CRM 2011 does not support database mirroring. Our recommendation is to use sql server 2012 always on availability groups:
