Hi,
 
Hope you can give me a hand with this. 
 
We have an old Navision version (I think it is 5.0). We are about to update to a new version.
 
In the meantime, I would like to update the server where the database is located. I have prepared a workstation, and I need to get an operting system and an SQL Server Edition.
 
Of course, everything I buy, I want it to be useful for the next version.
 
So, what Windows Server do you recommend and also, what SQL version (with CAL, with no CAL...).

    Hi, just adding some information, for NAV5.0, I think you need to upgrade to NAV2013R2 first.

    Unfortunately we can not update. We have no budget for that.
     
    So I will have to go ahead with the program we have, just changing the computer.
     
    In another hand, which SQL Server version do I have to purchase?. With CAL, no CAL???
