ADP payroll Import issue

Dear all

Really help needed for importing ADP payroll GL to GP. We have worked with ADP and generate the csv file. Everything looks perfect until the importing.

The ADP csv file meet the 10 fields requirement, but when importing, it is say that is invalid ADP file. We have tried may ways to find where the problem is, and find

The adp csv file has totally 236 rows, if we delete rows and only has 6 row left, and import will be successful. If more than  6 row, it will say invalid ADP file.

So my question is that is there a "rows" requirement for adp file, since I can not find it anywhere.

Regards

Howard

Are you saying it will only import a file that has no more that 6 rows?

There is no "rows" requirement for ADP file.  If you are using an Integration for importing, it will tell you why the file is invalid.  Review the specific integration to determine the following:

    1) Are maximum number of warnings set to 5 or less?
    2) Check the filters set on the Source file?

We import files with more than 6 rows all the time, so it may be the specific settings on the integration you are using.

If you are not importing via an integration, then whatever parameters that were established must have limited the rows to 6.  Modify that and your problem should get resolved.

Have you checked the Maximum number of warnings & errors limit?

    Thanks all for the help

The issue was solved. basically changed the file extension to gli and a short the
    length of the one field.
