Printing license plates from the Mobile app

Hi currently testing printing license plate labels to a zpl printer using label layouts. I have set up and can print using custom labels set up from the license plate label page, and several other custom print labels i have set up. However if i try to print from the mobile app on receipting or with reprint label, despite what appears rto be a similar set up, nothing is printed or appears in the document routing status. I have tried using document routing layout set up with the same result. Is there anything additional that needs configuring for mobile app printing different from what is required for custom label prints. The label layout data source, label layout and document routing are set up.

Hi,

The mobile device reprint option only works for those license plates for which a license plate label data is generated beforehand.

This means that only those license plates which were handled via a print step gets data in the license plate label form.

So ideally

1 - We receive a purchase order

2 - During the receipt of the purchase order the received license plate was printed using the print step in work templates

3 - When the print step was executed data was generated in the license plate label table.

4 - Now at a later stage if you wish to reprint this license plate label you can use the mobile device option and it will immediately trigger a print. The data generated has the order type field. So for example if a license plate label was generated and printed during purchase order receiving the order type field will have value purchase order and any reprints of this license plate will use Document routing settings for order type purchase orders.

5 - Important setup is document routing setup.

So please check if the data exist in the license plate label form for the license plate for which you are trying to reprint.
