Hello,
today a very unpleasant problem surfaced. I have seen before that the number shown in "member count" of a marketing list can differ from the real number. So far so good.
Today I ran into the following problem: I had two marketing lists, A and B which shared a big percentage of contacts, so created a list C with all those who are shared.
Then I removed all which are on list C from the lists A and B. I checked the respective numbers before, so I know how many should be on lists A, B, and C now and the member count in CRM corresponds to this. However when I open the Marketing list members on lists A and B it gives me the right number of members and there are no members inside. Effectively I lost a big number of Sales leads, which suggests to revert to yesterday's backup. Nothing we would love to do, to be honest.
I have seen this issue http://support.microsoft.com/kb/954498, however it is different and we have rollup 2 installed.
Anything you can add to this is very welcome.
Thanks, Henrik.
