Hello,

Added a column to a report and now the data in that field is left justified instead of right justified.  How can I fix this?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

    BY default, the text just is applied based on the field's data type.

    To change this, download the report RDL file and open it in Visual Studio Data Tools (VSDT).

    If you do not have VSDT, download the report builder and open the RDL file.

    Download Microsoft® Report Builder from Official Microsoft Download Center

    Change the justification of the column and save the report. Report builder will ask for Report Server URL, click cancel to ignore this.

    Upload the report back in Dynamics 365, using the following steps:

    • Change Report Type to Existing File.
    • Click on Choose File and upload the modified RDL.
    • Save and Re-run the report.

    Please note, it is a good idea to take a backup of the original RDL file (the one you downloaded).
