Error Message When Creating a New Opportunity

I have an unusual situation where a user gets an error message when he tries to create an opportunity in CRM 2011. He gets the following error message:

He is using IE9 and has Outlook CRM UR18 installed. I am unable to replicate this error on my end as a system admin.

    I realized that my screenshot wasn't captured, but the error message says:

    There was an error with this field's customized event

    Field: Window

    Event: Onload

    Error: Unable to get value of the property 'setSubmitMode' object is null or undefined.

    Sounds like you have some javascript that's misbehaving. Check the events tab on the Opportunity form properties to see what functions are being called onLoad.

    Hi Joe,

    I initially thought it was the javascript, but I can't seem to replicate the error on my end (system admin role) or using the same role that the user who experienced the error has.

    It looks like you are trying to set SubmitMode for the field that does not exists in the form or field name may be misspelled in the javascript.
