Issue with Dynamics 365 Field Service Integration Setup

Hello,

I've went through and done the integration setup between Business Central and Field Service, however, I'm seeing that the Service Order -> Work Order integration table mapping is missing from my setup. I'm trying to undo the setup and have it redone in an effort to troubleshoot the missing table/fields, but I'm encountering this error 'The setup failed due to a generic error. Please sign in to the Dataverse organization with an account that has the System Administrator role. Ensure that no other import or deletion of a PowerApps solution is currently in progress. Additionally, verify that the solution file is not broken and that the specified administrator has sufficient privileges.'

I've checked my Dataverse environment, but not seeing any other process/tasks in progress and I'm currently logged in with an account that has all rights/privileges.

Any tips on how I can rectify the missing table mapping situation or to restart the process?

    Hello,

This usually means the BC–Field Service integration solution was only partially installed in Dataverse. When that happens, the Service Order → Work Order mapping isn’t created, and re-running setup fails with a generic admin error even if permissions are correct. The fix is to fully remove the Business Central / Field Service integration solutions from Dataverse, clean up integration records in BC, and then re-run the setup from scratch using a Dataverse System Administrator account. You can’t reliably fix the missing mapping manually; it has to come from a clean solution reinstall.

Hi Oussama, I've tried your suggestion but the problem still persists. I cleared out all the Field Service/Business Central solutions in my Dataverse environment along with the virtual tables and did a clean install. When I try to run it again, the initial message says "Importing Field Service Integration Solution - Project. This process will take several minutes. Please wait while the operation is being completed." then it gives me the error as previously mentioned.

At present, in the setup I have everything works, but there are still some integration table mappings missing, particularly the the Service Order -> Work Order. When I go to create the mapping myself, it's unable to run because there's no mapping for the Customer (BC) -> Service Account (FS) fields.
