Outlook client - waiting for the webpage to load - dialog

Hi

Occasionally some of our Outlook/CRM client users have noticed a small dialog that appears and just sits there in the corner of their screens saying

Waiting for the webpage to load from a CRM server.

It doesn't seem possible to close the dialog. Is it an indication of an issue and should we do anything if we see it?

Thanks

You see this dialog when system takes too long to load the crm web page. Mostly this issue will occur when user clicks on open the record in crm from outlook client. You have to check the performance of webpage that shows this dialogue. May be form load takes too long because javascript or plugin's . Ask your users exactly on which enity record it occurs and tune the perfomance for that web page in a system by cleaning javascripts and plugin's.

    Hello Stuart,

    • This could be because hardware in your system does't meet the requirement.

    technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699680.aspx

    technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699818.aspx

    • CRM Outlook is not updated to last version support.microsoft.com/.../3036179

    • There is a proxy or firewall blocking connection, it is possible to use fiddler to track connections: http://www.telerik.com/fiddler

    • Temp files and cookies are blocking connection, you could use ccleaner to clean them: www.piriform.com/ccleaner

    • Next url are not added in trusted sites: (for CRM Online)

    https://*.login.microsoftonlline.com

    https://*.microsoft.com

    https://*.dynamics.com/

    https://*.onmicrosoft.com/

    https://*.microsoft.com/

    • Sign in assistant is not in last version: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    • Corrupt elements in Outlook calendar: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    1. Download Calendar Checking Tool in office 32 or 64 bits version

    2. Unzip tool

    3. Run calcheck application

    4. Open CalCheckErr Excel file

    5. Identify if there are corrupt items (empty file means no corrupt items)

    6. Delete corrupt items in Outlook Calendar

    7. Delete CalCheckErr Excel File

    8. Run CalCheck application

    9. Verify if file is empty, if not run process until file is clean

    10. Verify if incident is solved

    • CRM Outlook configuration/credentials corrupted, configure users for CRM Outlook again.

    • Solutions/plugins overload CRM Outlook

    Best regards,

    Hello Stuart,

Please make sure that your update rollup is latest and should be same as you have for CRM server.
