Hi,

I'm looking for a way to export user selected opportunities into one excel file in specific format.

I've tried workflows but it seems to take each selected opportunity alone, so I'm not able to produce one output file including all of them.

I've been thinking about custom Javascript triggered by command bar button. But I'm not sure how would it access selected opportunities.

Another problem is generating excel/csv file. Maybe a email with attachment?

    Hi Ben,

    I think we misunderstood.

    this is the way I'd like to select opportunities I want. Then i want to process them as one (most likely in code since i need to retrieve other fields from relationships). Workflows can only process this selection one-by-one so I can't access all of them at the same time and therefore I can't return single output file with all of selected opportunities.

    The best way would be to create a custom view. You can specify the entity and the fields

    e.g. opportunity and the opportunity fields you want

    You can also specify the filter (filter for a certain user).

    You can then export this data into Excel.

    If you did a system view everyone would be able to see and you could use owner = current user.  

    An alternative to this would be to create a report
