Job Journal Versus Job G/L Journal

Hi:

In documents that I'm reading relating to Jobs (i.e., Project Accounting) in Business Central, I see some suggestions to post from the Job Journal and some that say to post from the Job G/L Journal.

Which is it, and what is the difference between these two journals?

Hi john.ellis ,

Job journals and job G/L journals are not the same. The difference is that job journals will not create G/L entries when you post it.

Job g/l journals are used if adjustments are required or you don’t have a use case for the built in WIP functionality
