Hi
I am going to open database in Development error . It is giving error - The Test Database cannot be opened on Server\NavDemo cannot be opened by this version of Microsoft Dynamics Development Environment. The Database has already been converted by a higher version.

Hi,
This message generally comes when the Database converted to New Version or New Cumulative Update.
You can no longer open access this database from Development Environment as its already been converted to New Version.
Please restore old DB back up again from the old version and give a try.

yes, your SQL Database has been converted to the newer version. Please restore the New SQL DB from Old version. Then try to access the new DB.

As naveen said, your existing database has been opened in the new version. Then database got converted. Do you have any other version installed? specially 2013R2 above?
If you have a SQL backup you can restore, and try to open it from the given version. It will work.
