I was attempting to print a trial balance from GP and it printed incorrectly. I had selected all three report destinations (screen, printer, and file) and both the print out and the file were cut off after the fifth page. I know this can happen if you print from the screen output before the report finishes loading, but when you select the printer output, you are prompted to select the number of pages to print before the screen output generates. This caused the totals at the end of the report to be incorrect as well.

If you just print the report to the printer, I believe all will be well. I would guess that this problem isn't very high on the fix list. If you are printing it to a printer, it seems like you wouldn't need to use all three destinations.
Kind regards,
Leslie
Hi Tristan - This was a long-ago issue based upon your response on August 2, 2013. It is now January 25, 2017 and we are having this TB printing problem with GP 2016 (not R2). Did this topic ever have your involvement with resolution possibly? Just thought I would check.ask. Thank you. Mary Gillette - Tresidder Limited - Dynamics GP VAR - Brooklyn NY
Hi, Did you find any solution for this printing error?
Hi Rhousz,
I believe this was a bug in GP - I just can't recall the bug number.
Try checking with MS Support.
Print to screen then printing or sending works fine. It is only an issue when all three (screen, print and file) are selected.
Hi,
What happens when you print to screen and then send to PDF?
The screen report prints fine. No pages are cut off and the totals are correct. It is just the paper and file reports that are cut off with incorrect totals.
Hi Rhousz,
What happens if you print the report to screen? Is it cut-off as well and the totals incorrect?
Kind Regards,
Tristan
