Slow performance issue on BC 14 on prem

Hi All

We have a client using the v14 BC on-prem version and have consolidated 5 companies into one so have around 400 users all logging in and using the same company at the same time. They are experiencing real issues with the No series getting locked when creating Sales Orders and configuring BOM's.

Lots of errors about another user has locked this table and we were wondering if anyone has encountered this before and if so what steps were taken to try and minimise the table locking?

We are looking at the way the load bearing is working as they are using Remote connections but selecting the server rather than being connected to whichever application server has less users but I was wondering if there is anything else we can do in the background to stop the table locks?

Hello,

I would start by looking at the obvious which is discussed here:

learn.microsoft.com/.../performance-overview

You need to find out what users are doing. Is there a process running in the background that can be scheduled Posting can be scheduled as well, etc.
