Item import Error from RMS to GP

 i got error message when i try to import item into GP from RMS, "8003 1307"

     Standard integration can't support item quantities, only amounts.

    Hi All,

    I can able to import the item from RMS to GP. The problem is i cannot able to import the quantities for the item to GP.

    Please Help.

    Dear Sir,

     I dealt before on RMS GP Integration and face the same problem.

    This problem means that you didn't determine the Unit Of Measure for item in both RMS and GP.

    So to import items successfully you have to determine the unit of measure for the items in GP and Also in RMS and try to be the same in both like: (Each)

     And it will be imported successfully.

    If you can find an item that imports OK, you could compare the set up of both items to see if there is anything different. A check links on the inventory module wouldn't hurt. Do a back up before running it though.

    Thanks Stewart, no nothing else after this error,  actullay i received this error at item import report window. yes

    item can add manually

    Is there nothing else after the error message above? Usually there is some text describing the issue.

    Its most likely a setting being imported that is not set up in GP. Can you add the item manually in GP? This will reveal what is wrong.

    Adnan, Check if all your Item Classes are mapped to RMS in RMS Integration setup. Check if all the Item classes have Sales, COGS, Inventory accounts defined. 8003 1307 error is weird. I didnt see this before. Can you drill down further to the error
