Hello. Currently for our crm deployment we have two sql servers in an always on availability group failover cluster. We're moving away from the sql cluster due to performance and reliability issues and instead we will be setting up 4 standalone sql servers.
I was able to move two organizations to one of the new sql servers with no issue. My concern once I move the mscrm_config database off of the current sql cluster and on to one of the standalone sql servers, does it matter which one I put it on? Is having 4 standalone sql servers for this single crm deployment a supported configuration?

Hi phoeneous,
It does not mention that in the above document. I am telling you.
Where does it say that? Where does it say the word 'required'?
Hi phoeneous,
Clusters are required when using multiple SQL servers for a single deployment.
I don't think you read my question. I know you can have multiple servers in a crm deployment, but can you have multiple standalone SQL servers (not in a cluster) in a crm deployment?
That link that you provided doesn't say anything about having multiple standalone SQL servers. In fact your link says "single server that is running SQL Server" which is not what I'm looking to do.
Hi phoeneous,
It is a supported configuration, and can increase performance and availability. Here is a guide on installing Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server on multiple computers.
