Hi All,
 
Please assist, how do I remove the ship to contact name that's defaulting to all purchase orders for different vendors.

    When you create a purchase order and select a vendor - depending on your setup the system will auto populate the Ship-to Code with two options: 
     
    1. Default (Company Address)
    2. Location
     
    Review what you have in the Ship-to field and:
    • If in the vendor card you don't have a location code selected, then in the PO Ship-to Default (Company Address) will be selected. In that case, the Ship-to Contact you're seeing will come from the Company Information Page. You will have to change/remove it in here.
     
     
     
    • If in the vendor card, you have a location code selected, then in the PO Ship-to Location will be selected. In that case, the Ship-to Contact you're seeing will come from the location card.
    For example, where a location code default is selected on the vendor card:
     
     
    And where the contact on the location code is located. You would have to change/remove it here.

    ship to contact just shows who is the contact person for the customer, not meaning the shipping address inherit from the contact. 
     
    if you look at ship to on a SO, it has 3 options, which is the ship to address
     
     

    to remove the column, just go the personalization in BC, and hide it

    Hi,
     
    In standard Business central, Ship-to address default to Company Address.
     
    I would suggest reviewing customization around Setting Ship-to address when new Purchase order. It may be a custom code which is setting up custom ship-to address when new Purchase order is created.
