Hi all,

As basic as it sounds, is there any way to customise the Search bar?

For example, if I were to search for a customers account using a phone number (that I know is listed in the account), it will return nothing, but searching for a first name or surname does.

Is it possible to alter this?

don't worry you are not the first person to wonder how to do this and it isn't obvious

basically you need to edit the quick find view for the entity and on this view you will see an extra option call

Add Find columns

you can add/remove the columns which will be searched

Yes you can customize quick search fields using the quick find View in the entity. GO to account entity and click on the view and find the quick find view double click and add all the fields that you want to search in a record and save and publish it.
