Hi all,

the point is:

-We are creating a plugin to retrieve data from sharepoint.

-the files should be created in SP with custom tags... I.E category and subcategory and the document links would be storage in a custom entity (documentSharePoint) in hams

-the entity documentSharePoint should have just one column to store the link to SP

-so, can I create a gridview in CRM showing the 3 fields?

linkDocument	category	subcategory

I think I could create the entity in CRM with the 3 fields and fill the attributes for category and subcategory in the plugin when retrieving.... but it is not too clean...

Any better idea? can I create a any type object and bind it to a gridview? if yes, how can I add the grid?

well if you do the otherway round, dynamically fetching meta-data for every link document while rending it on screen (datagrid etc), it will be not be a good idea. I feel what you have though has a good value, getting all attributes at the same time will save lots of background calls also.

Another way I can think is to have these records permanently in CRM as custom entity. You will refresh these after certain period. It has got its pros and cons as well. mainly users might not get refreshed data immediately and performance impact also depending on the frequency of update.
