Anybody here have any suggestions on how can I upgrade from 3.0 to the latest Dynamics?
I have read somewhere that i need to upgrade from 30 to 4.0 to 011 to 2013 up to 2016, if I do that how much time will it consume? we cant afford long downtime, so any suggestion for efficient upgrade? Thanks in advance!

As Martijn said, Scribe or Kingwsaysoft are great options.

    Trial for Scribe:

For data migration you need to use a tool like Scribe or Kingswaysoft for SSIS.

But you alsno need to configure and modify your new CRM 2016 environment to suit the needs of your business.

Our CRM is modified so i think I go to data migration. can you suggest some ways or steps for data-migration? Im new at CRM. I was assigned here lately and my first task is to upgrade the CRM from 3.0 to 2016 so I guess i will suggest data-migration.

The path you are referring to is correct. And how long it takes depends on many factors, like database size and hardware used.

Next to that, such an upgrade will most likely only work if you haven't used any custom code or made any customizations.

Maybe the best path is to do a new implementation and migrate just the data. If you do that one right you might have a very short downtime.

You will indeed need to upgrade as you mentioned through 4.0, 2011 up to RU 18,  2013, 2013sp1, 2015 and 2016.

For each of those versions you will need server that has that version and you will need to upgrade all custom code.

In regards of downtime and bughandling you will be way better off just installing and configuring a clean 2016 version.

Working with CRM has changed in great lenghts and is worth implementing in you business.

So in my opinion, you should see how you can perform a data-migration and forget about the upgrade path through all the separate versions..
