Hi, I created a direct transfer order from a simple location A to location B where receipt is required. The item being transferred is a serial no. tracked item. After I populate the item tracking line and post shipment. NAV 2018 shows error saying there is nothing to post even the shipment has indeed been posted.
However, I was not able to create a warehouse receipt by getting the resource document, even the transfer order shows up on the screen. As a result, NAV didn't create a receive line for location B.
I was able to use reclassification journal to put the shipped item from a blank location back to the original location. And I have no issue if the transfer order is done using in-transit location.
I'm wondering if it is possible to do a direct transfer for tracked items.
