Hey All!!!

I have a doubt in the Relationship between  Opportunities and Contacts, First I would Like to explain My scenario, am having multiple contacts for an single opportunity, and am closing the opportunity as close as won and I would like to add the Same contacts for different opportunities , but am getting an Error as" Contacts already related to the different opportunities," Is it possible to add the same contacts for different opportunities once its is related another opportunities

If yes, the suggest me the steps to achieve this!!!

Thanks  in Advance :)

Happy CRM ing :)

    Hi!

Have you created a custom N:1 to relationship between contact and opportunity? You should use the Stakeholders grid on the opportunity to add contacts that are related to the opportunity - this adds connections to multiple contacts.

    See blogs.technet.com/.../the-controls-of-the-new-lead-and-opportunity-form-in-crm-online.aspx

    Hope this helps!

Either use Stakeholders as Scott suggests, or create a N:N relationship instead of your 1:N relationship.

You can create manual or native N:N relationship, please take a look to : techboa.blogspot.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-crm-entity.html

I'm joining the thread; I have the same issue as Kishor.  I'm not sure how to configure in CRM 2015 online.  I've gone to the customizations>entity>contact>1:n relationships, and found two opportunity schemas (customer contact and parent contact).

Do I use these settings and create one new n:n relationship with current entity contact and other entity opportunity?  I'm also unsure of the display/label options, or what happens to the 1:n relationship that's already existing.  I've been through the help files/videos, but stuck on the next step.

    Any and all help appreciated.

You would need to create a new N:N relationship and then you could add a subgrid to the form and select the new relationship that you created.

The existing relationships will still be there for any primary contact relationships.

I would still recommend using the connections since it will not require any changes to the form.
