Hi

I'm currently looking for the best way of migrating Attatchments from Salesforce to Dynamics 365 CRM. Accounts, Contacts and other entities will be migratet with Scribe.

I'm now wondering, is it possible with Scribe or how can I migrate Attatchments?

regards

Manuel

    Hi manuel,

    I'm not using Scribe but the mapping is pretty straight forward.

    The most important fields are:

    objectid = your opportunity id

    objecttypecode = 3 (for opportunity)

    mimetype = depends on your file type

    documentbody = base64 encoded filecontent

    I hope this will help you.

    Hi It's the attatchmetns of opportunities. If it is possible, how should the mapping look like?

    Hi,

    Is it the attachments against these account/ contact records or email attachments. If it is related to account/ contact then you can use scribe to create notes entity record with the attachment.

    Hope this helps.
