"Edit in Excel" function missing with sales lines within a sales order

Hi,

we would like for users to be ablet to edit the sales lines with excel from within sales orders.

The edit in Excel function is missin for us inside of Sales Orders. It is present in Sales Quotes and on the Sales Lines page.
Sales Orders only have Open in Excel. Am I missing something? Shouldn't be a permission issue since I am a super user.

I already posted a reply to this topic, where I was able to determine the function should be present from some screenshots Yun Zhu posted.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

By the standard, there is an Edit in Excel on the Lines of Sales Order.
For editing in Excel, there are a few permission sets, but if you are a SuperUser, then you should see Edit in Excel wherever it is available.
It could probably be removed by personalisation, but why that when you can use permission sets, so it is the best option to check it with your colleagues who have a better insight into the code.

    Greetings, Mustafa

    Hi,

thanks for your replies. I tried RockwithNavs permission set to no avail.

But as I said, the weird thing is, that it is available on the sales line site, but not from within
    sales orders

Ok I checked the code, was all good.
Then I found, that on that site it's hidden from specific roles.
    Anzway thanks for the replies.

    Best regards,
