Find the owner of a dashboard

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me how to find the owner of a user dashboard? Trying to clean up the number of personal dashboards in the database but it seems like the owner has not given me 'delete' permissions.

Hi Ciaran,

If you are on-premise there is a way to get in a query the database directly. But that is not pretty or easy.

I would try using advanced find and looking at your saved views. In the saved views you can change record type to the type for this dashboard, or if it covers all different records you can show all saved views. See if one of the views used on that dashboard is a personal view shared with you, and that would show here under saved views.

There is an owner column here you can use to start narrowing the list. I hope this helps. Let me know how far this gets you.
