Error message when saving in CRM 2011 On-Premise. "Your subscription has the maximum amount of storage available. To obtain additional storage, please contact our sales organization." Has anyone gotten this? I got it yesterday and was able to close CRM and open back and save, but today I am getting this every time I try to save in CRM 2011. Update Rollup 8 is applied.

Could be old one but might save someones time, Silly reason was that the C Drive ran out of space

i just recreated this on my test system.

Yes, on R8 having restricted growth (and reaching your growth limit) causes that error message.

I dont have time right now to check Gus's no hdd space idea.

but what i would personally do first, is check how much hdd space you have remaining on the data drive of your sql server, then i would investigate file growth limits.

FYI, in SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), you can right click a database in the connection tree, and select properties to see settings such as file growth, database size etc.

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers,

    Mark

To do as Mark is suggesting, if i understand him correctly would be to run the following statement on your sql server database.

ALTER DATABASE <DATABASE> MODIFY FILE (NAME = mscrm,MAXSIZE = UNLIMITED)

replace <DATABASE> with the name of your database (typically your organization name followed by _MSCRM

what that will do, is allow your sql server to grow as it needs more space (grows by a figure or percentage supplied in the database properties).

We found that we had this same error on an On Premise implementation and found that the organization database was set to "Restricted Growth".   Once that was cleared, the error went away.

    On-Premise?

I've never seen that message On-Prem...do you have plenty of space on the SQL Server drive hosting the CRM database?
