V16 On prem GL trans go missing

We are setting up a new server and importing data with config packages. In a company the gl trans are imported posted etc and printed. They are then going missing the next day. There are 70 companies setup this way and only one lost trans at the start of the week. The only thing we know changed on the server was that the demo key we used to setup the server was changed to the customer key. The NST was restarted for this to take effect. The next morning the data was gone!

The import was performed again and we moved on. Then there was a need to change the key back to the demo one. Then after it was changed back to the customer flf another company lost data.

All of this seem very bazar and not really connected with the flf changes or the NST restart but it seems to be linked.

Has anyone seen anything like this before or could thro any light on why this may occur?

When we need to perform the flf swap again I will backup the database before just in case so I have something to restore

I have the same question (0)

    hi ,

I am almost 100% sure this issue is not related to license swap . You should look at infrastructure .

Let us know what is was.

I also do not think the flf change is causing this. I am leaning towards the NST restarting and if the config package import sets the SQL transaction block and does not clear this at the end for some reason. Then when it starts again it might roll back the config package
