GP 2015 RTM release has been shipped with an incorrect version of Professional Tools Library which I am still waiting on a new version for and also I have now discovered that Project Accounting PDFs are not also included.  To add to the list all the manuals are GP 2013 manuals.

With the increased release of versions it appears that Microsoft have failed to quality check their releases.

Can Microsoft comment on the release of the new version of PSTL and the availability of Project Accounting manuals please

    Hi Michael,

    I'm too currently in the phase of testing the GP2015 upgrade from our actual GP 2010R2 and realized that all the documentation has rather gone short for 2015.. Most of it was just taken over from GP 2013 and/or R2...

    I also realized that in Project Accounting, the content of the windows sometimes doesn't match what's in the Help files... i.e. when it says in step 14 "Click Access List to assign the employee to projects. See Assign an employee to projects for more information. ", but that 'Access List' button doesn't exist anymore on that Employee screen (where is used to be in the previous versions (though I cannot validate 2013). ...

    So yes, Microsoft did slack on the Quality Control for 2015.. That's what happens when you want to rush out new major updates every 6 months, but don't have the time to follow up with the documentation...  A tendency that I found becomes more and more the norm nowadays as other ISVs are often lacking of updated documentation too.

    Forget my comment about the missing button... I found out that the Alternate / Modified Forms & Reports ID that was assigned to my user ID was not including the Project Accounting resources.. Correction done and the button shows up now.

    A new version has been released.

    Microsoft Are doing are a really bad job at the moment in keeping Partners updated with these essential releases.  You search in Partnersource and you get no finds or if you click on GP 2015 links you get GP 2013 links.  How can Microsoft release multiple versions frequently and they can not keep quality control in check.
