CRM 2011 ribbon buttons strange behavior

Hi, recently I've realized that ribbon buttons on one of our on-premise CRM2011 environments have very strange behavior: when moving mouse over the buttons, the don't get highlighted. Moreover, when clicking on the button with black triangle (flyout type, e.g. Run report button), the whole CRM application turns into the blank page, so it's not possible to see ribbon button items, see screenshot:

This problem doesn't occur on any other CRM environments at this time.

Update Rollup 11 is installed.

Any help will be appreciated.

I would suggest:

1. Ensure that crm is added to the compatability mode sites - support.microsoft.com/.../2743941

2. Clear your browser cache

3. Check if this is happening for any other users.

Which version of IE you are using? Please check this with IE8.

Thanks for the reply.

I've already added CRM URL to the compatibility mode sites and cleared IE cache as well, didn't help.

I also tried to log into CRM as a different user, same behavior.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using IE 10 on my PC, and IE 11 (compatibility view) on the CRM server (via Remote Desktop).

It seems to me though this problem is not connected to the Internet Explorer.

If it is happening for all users - then it could be that your server installation is corrupted. Has there been any modifications made to system files such as css style sheets?

I'm not aware of any such modifications to system files. I can try to compare this files between different environments but it will take some time as I don't know exactly which files could be corrupted.
