    Hi,

Deleting ILEs would definitely will be not good option. It will make the database vulnerable.

What is the purpose of deleting ILEs if I may ask?

    Regards,

Deleting ILE may cause accounting mismatches, there is no default codeunit for this, I suggest do not make such a provision unless you are only just doing these for testing

Like other here have told you. Deleting the Item Ledger Entries is not a good idea. And if you do that there is also a lot of other things you need to delete in your database to not ruin the integrity of your Business Central database.

Technically it is not an advanced operation to do but it requires a lot of other considerations before it is done.

Normally it is only something I would do if I should clear a company of all transactions and then there is probably 30 more tables i need to delete data in to keep the integrity of my system.

Hi, As mentioned by previous experts, please do not delete the Item Ledger Entry table directly.

I just simply share the method. Please don't try.

If you want to modify the posted data in BC, you need to set the Permissions Property for your object first.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
